AS FR-BDG
Bi-directional groove pattern face ring for dry gas seals. Precision-machined grooves enable gas film generation regardless of shaft rotation direction.

Design Features
- Bi-directional groove geometry generates lifting force in both clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation, eliminating the need for rotation-specific parts.
- Tungsten Carbide substrate provides maximum hardness (HRA ≥90) and wear resistance for demanding compressor services.
- Precision laser or photochemical etching ensures consistent groove depth and geometry for reliable gas film stiffness.
- Compatible with all AS DGS seal assemblies as drop-in replacement face rings.
